Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Open Source PAI Instructor to join our team. This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive training programs on the effective use of publicly available information for various applications, including but not limited to intelligence gathering, market research, and digital forensics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in open source intelligence methodologies, a passion for teaching, and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging training materials and courses on open source intelligence techniques, tools, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in open source intelligence and incorporate them into training programs.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and webinars for a range of audiences, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as necessary to ensure they meet learning objectives and participant needs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to learners, offering feedback and support to facilitate their professional development.
  • Collaborate with the content development team to create educational resources, including tutorials, guides, and case studies.
  • Participate in community events, conferences, and seminars to represent the organization and stay connected with the OSINT community.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in open source intelligence (OSINT), with a deep understanding of publicly available information (PAI) collection and analysis techniques.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs, workshops, or courses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Familiarity with digital research tools and software commonly used in OSINT operations.
  • A commitment to ethical practices in intelligence gathering and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree (not a hard requirement based on experience)  in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Security Studies, International Relations) is preferred but not required.
  • Active participation in the OSINT community and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
