Overview

Oak Grove Technologies is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper to join our team in Artesia, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automotive maintenance and repair, a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow in the automotive industry. As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced mechanics with a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operations and top-quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced mechanics with vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform basic inspections and diagnostics on vehicles.
  • Help with the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components.
  • Keep the workshop clean and organized.
  • Assist in ordering and managing parts and supplies.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Learn and develop skills in automotive maintenance and repair.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A strong interest in automotive maintenance and repair.
  • A willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
