Overview

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC a fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking an Alternate Project Manager to support federal law enforcement training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico.  Oak Grove Technologies offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Have the authority to speak for and act for the Contractor in all matters related to providing services under this contract. This delegation of authority includes, but is not limited to all matters concerning the day-to-day effective operation of Student Support services such as personnel supervision, training, purchasing, and cost controls.
  • Either the Project Manager or Alternate Project Manager(s) shall be on site at the FLETC during all times when work is being performed. During normal duty hours, the Project Manager or Alternate(s) shall be available within thirty (30) minutes notice to meet on the Center with Government personnel designated by the Contracting Officer to discuss contractual issues. After normal duty hours, the Project Manager or designated Alternate shall be available on-Center within two (2) hours.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Program Manager and project team members
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating project plans
  • Help to identify risks and issues associated with the program, and work with the Program Manager to develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any potential safety or federal compliance issues
  • Participate in program reviews and audits, providing input and recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in the implementation of quality assurance procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Alternate Program Manager on Federal Contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience and a working knowledge typical of work under this contract (for example: Firearms, Vehicle Maintenance, Scheduling, Transportation, Inventory, etc…).
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English and shall be capable and experienced in the type of work they are assigned under this contract.
  • Be physically able to perform assigned work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field or 3-5 years experience in project management, program coordination, or similar role
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
