Responsibilities

Oak Grove is seeking a Section 508 Expert

 

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

 

Bachelor’s Degree at least five (5) years of 508 compliance experience, including accessibility, Section 508 and W3C testing of all types of electronic and information technology products and services.

 

He or she must have a solid knowledge of a strong understanding of accessible user interface design practices and principles. In addition, candidates need knowledge and experience in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX and .net coding techniques; and in document remediation techniques and standards.

 

Candidates must also have a experience and a strong understanding of accessible user interface design practices and principles, extensive knowledge of accessibility barriers to the Web, and strong organizational skills.

 

Nice to have:

Trusted Tester certification from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
